An engagement with CornerPiece typically centers on a training program individualised for your business. It may include:
- Flexible customised programs, designed to address your organisation’s specific needs;
- Diploma programs, in which participants can earn nationally accredited qualifications; or
- Customised leadership and management programs.
Organisations are unique, but they share common patterns. Our experience with those patterns lets us very quickly sketch out an individualised program for training your team in the exact skills they need to create positive change. In some situations, training can be presented and results observed in just a couple of days.
Our dedication frequently includes coaching trainees one-on-one to ensure they successfully implement what they have learned and see the desired results.
We take a team approach to working with our clients and recognise that no one person can provide all the knowledge and solutions. We draw on an extensive team of learning and development professionals including organisational psychologists. We are always direct about our strengths and capacity and work with you to build the right team to take your business to the next level.
Not all training companies can offer national qualifications in the business and management area. CornerPiece is able to offer nationally accredited training. Government rebates are available to offset the investment in training your team. Call us to find out if your people qualify.
Then consider what needs to be done to make sure accredited training creates the maximum positive impact on your team’s culture and consequently your bottom line. We have seen that diploma programs can be most effective when paired with individualised training that addresses the gap between certified training and your organisation’s needs.
Engagements Create Measurable Results
One business was not happy with the way its team was handling a sales event. Previously, the event had increased revenue by only 5 percent. Management believed their people primarily needed more motivation and enthusiasm. Initially they asked us to train staff how to structure the event, and to coach some of the leaders. However, as we investigated the situation, we saw they needed additional skills and structure for follow-up as well. After our facilitator’s engagement, the event’s results jumped to 37 percent.
Another client, a para-military organisation, was experiencing a high number of disagreements that escalated into physical conflict each month. This organisation asked us to teach their members how to resolve conflicts without resorting to physical escalation. The membership doubted they could do this without compromising their strength and losing their credibility. During the training however, they learned alternatives to escalation that empowered them to maintain respect—“to fight fair without destroying their man brand.” As a result, incidents of physical conflict were reduced by 70 percent.
